How to start the transcode of a video file
- From the Start page select “My Videos”:
- Navigate to the folder containing the file you want to transcode:
- Highlight the file you want to transcode:
- Push the “More Info” button on the remote and select the “More…” menu item:
- Select the “Transcode” option:
- The transcoding start and moments later the movie will automatically playback
How to pause, restart, skip forward and backward in the transcoded file
- Simply use the “Pause, Play, Skip Forward and Skip Backward” remote control buttons. This is all there is to it!
How to stop the transcode of a file you no longer want to watch
- Hit the “Back” button on the remote to return to the transcode page.
- Select the transcode icon again
- Case A: If the transcode is completed there is nothing to do
- Case B: If the transcoding is still going on select the “Stop” transcoding option

How do I customize default settings?
- On your MCE 2005 computer open the file c:\Program Files\Transcode360\transcode360.config in notepad
- Make the desired modifications
- Save the file
- T360 will read the new configuration file on it’s own
- Enjoy the new configuration changes
